The U.S. Ranks Dead Last In Every Category of Health Care

Apparently there is little correlation between the health of Americans and the amount spent on health care.  Despite spending significantly more on health care than other similarly developed countries, America ranks dead last in categories such as infant mortality and life expectancy.  Americans consume more calories per capita than any other nation on planet Earth and the result is an obesity rate double that of peer countries.

A study done in conjunction with the National Academy of Sciences proves that the U.S. health care system is ridiculously costly, complex and inefficient but so far no one has been able to reform the system.  Will the new national health care system improve the situation or will the heavy hand of well intentioned government intervention and mandates make the situation even worse?  We are all dying to find out.
